How to see the Doctors

Appointments can bemade in person, on the telephone or online. Please ask the receptionist to register if you wish to book online.

If you have a preferencewhich practitioner you wish to see please informthe Receptionist. Please note your preferred practitioner may not always be available.

Consultations are by 10 minute appointments. Please cancel appointments if you are unable to keep them.

Telephone Availability

If you would like to speak with a GP via the telephone, please ask the Receptionist who will book a time for a GP to call you back.

Home Visits

contact us Please request home visits by 10.30am. These should only be requested by patients who are too ill to travel to the surgery. All requests are dealt with by the Triage Nurse.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
